EVANGELISM AND OUTREACH

Evangelism Team

Contact: evangelism@sjbcfamily.com

Evangelism is a critical component of ministry that takes place through each of our ministry areas and efforts.  Witnessing teams serve by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We accomplish this goal by engaging volunteers in hands-on, relational evangelism and discipleship experiences regardless of age, skill level, or resources.  Everyone can make a difference as we “Pray, Give, Go, Serve.”

Faith Walkers Prison Ministry

Contact: faithwalkers@sbjcfamily.com

Believing the Church is called to minister to the lost, broken, and the incarcerated, Faith Walkers Prison Ministry serves local, state, and federal institutions.  Incarcerated men, women, and juveniles are desperately in need of hope. Helping others prepare for eternity and life in a loving relationship with Christ is our mission. Our volunteers open channels for dialogue, share the gospel, teach bible studies, and facilitate a wide array of life skill classes. There are many impactful ways to serve with the Faith Walkers Prison ministry from going into facilities to writing correspondence and there is a place for you on our team!

Global and Local Missions

Contact: outreachministry@sjbcfamily.com

Our Global Missions and Local Outreach ministries serve those who are outside the walls of our church with the message and the love of Jesus Christ. We do this by partnering/serving locally, nationally, and internationally. Our local outreach efforts include school partnerships, back-to-school distributions, senior citizen service projects, Christmas giving programs, and similar community-based initiatives. Our global mission volunteers serve in Uganda and Guatemala with the aim of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ while answering social needs through educational, agricultural, medical/dental, and construction initiatives.
