GROWTH GROUPS
After you’ve joined the St. John church Family, we encourage you to take part in the available Christian Education opportunities by way of small groups or Church school. These learning opportunities seek to provide members with knowledge and tools needed to cultivate your relationship with Jesus Christ and applying God’s Word.
SMALL GROUPS – Our small group setting allows you to connect with other believers in an interactive learning environment. Your spiritual growthwill be supported through the study of God’s Word, open discussions and serving others.
CHURCH SCHOOL – As believers we are to study the Word of God on a consistent basis. Church School is a group study with an approved curriculum providing a firm foundation for spiritual growth.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT– This area of growth focuses on one’s daily living experiences. SJC is concerned about your physical fitness, financial matters, your future mate and other areas of your life.

2:1 Marriage Ministry
Married Couples
The 2:1 Marriage Ministry Small Group consists of bible studies designed to help couples seek God. The curriculum includes practical topics that support fulfilling and lasting relationships through informal and interactive sessions.

Women’s Group
All Women
This is a small group Bible study for women that not only builds community while studying God’s Word but also aims to equip and encourage one another.

Master’s Men Ministry
All Men
The Master’s Men Ministry encourages men to walk alongside one another in an effort to provide encouragement and support while building a personal relationship with God.

Singles in October
Mark you calendars for these upcoming dates:
- Friday, October 11th – Christian Singles Open Mic Night – You’re invited to a night of sharing and listneing at our Gran Prairie campus at 7:00pm – 8:30pm. The night will be filled with spoken word, music, comedy, and music. Our host is Blare.
- Sunday, October 13th – Singles Mingle – Follwoing the 10:00am service at our Southlake campus, join the Singles Ministry for an opportunity to connect with other singles while supporting the SJC Cafe.
- Sunday, October 20th – Singles Birthday Fellowship – Make palns to attend the celebration of October birthday from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. The location will be announced soon.
- Sunday, October 27th – Singles Meet-Up at SJC Trunk-n-Tret & Tailgate following the 10am Unity Day service at the Southlake campus. Stop by the Singles trunk and help pass out treats for the children! Bring your own lawn chair.
- Wednesday, October 30th – Singles Bible Study – We’re diving in the Word on at our Grand Prairie campus to discuss “A Disciple’s Prayer Life” led by Min. Gloria Berry.
Senior Women of Faith Bible Study
Senior women of faith are restarting their monthly bible study! Join us monthly at our Grand Prairie campus as we study the Word of God with other senior women.
2nd Saturdays at 11:00am – 1:00pm in the Welcome room at the Grand Prairie campus
Women’s Bible Study
Ladies, Ladies, Ladies it’s time to start bible study. Prayerfully, you had a great summer break and ready to participate in small group bible study where we develop an intimate relationship with God and build community. Classes begin Thursday, September 19th. The book for class is “Satisfy My Thirsty Soul” by Linda Dillow and can be purchased in the bookstore at either campus for $15 each.

Did you know that we have weekly Sunday School classes? We have various times and methods for all adults to participate in an interactive small group bible study. The Church School classroom provides the foundation of our spiritual growth, biblical knowledge, discipleship and builds community. All Members
An assortment of classes based on members requests and current trends. Previous classes consisted of fitness dance, scrapbooking, couponing and self-defense.
