Open Mic Night
On Friday, September 13th, our Singles Ministry is a hosting an Open Mic Night. Mark you calendar for an evening of poetry, music, comedy and so much more. The fun takes place at our Grand Prairie campus at 7:00pm. The cost is free but let us know you're coming by registering!
Go Hiking
The Young Adults are going hiking on Saturday, September 14th at the Cedar Ridge Preserve in Dallas, Tx. Parking is limited so if you're bringing someone, we encourage you to carpool. Entrance to the preserve is free.
We encourage attendees to dress comfortably and bring water with you. We will meet at the start of the trains (near the Education Center) to pray before we begin our hike. The Young Adults are excited for a morning of fellowship in nature.

Join the Singles Ministry as they dive deeper in the Word together. Our very own, Dr. Clark Joseph, will lead an engaging discussion on "A Disciple's Worship". Bible Study takes place on Wednesday, September 25th at 7pm at our Grand Prairie campus.
When was the last time you invested in your marriage? When was the last time you prioritized the well-being of your spouse and marriage?
SJC offers a four-hour workshop that provides an opportunity to refresh and refuel your marriage. Couples will be able to receive information and share experiences that are designed to align marriages with God being the center. This workshop will provide dynamic ways to build a healthy marriage.

Men - it's time for the monthly Master's Men Ministry Prayer Breakfast and Discipleship gathering. Register to attend on Saturday, August 3rd at 8am. There is no cost but we do ask that you register so we can make sure we plan for your arrival!

On February 7, 2023, our beloved member, 16- year- old son Daniel Christopher McKinnon, committed suicide. Daniel was a caring, loving son, brother, nephew and friend to all those he encountered. His family has made it their mission to help spread the word so no other family has to go through a situation such as theirs.
We invite members to join in with them in their missions by donating or participating in the "Out of the Darkness Walk" sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This walk will be held on October 26, 2024 at The Levitt Center in Arlington, Texas at 10:30 a.m.
We are joining thousands of teams across the country to help save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.
Election Day 2024 is quickly approaching! Make sure you that you are registered to vote so that you are able to exercise your civic right and duty.
We conduct a voter registration drive in the foyers of both campuses.
Whether you are in relationship or desire a relationship, this class is for you. Join other individuals in serious conversations and a variety of soul-searching questions when seeking mate.
This six-week program begins September 28th at our Southlake campus from 10am - 12pm. The class fee is $30 per person.
St. John family we are partnering with teen parents to provide diapers for babies from new born to toddler. Please help us to be a blessing to these families by dropping off a case of diapers or donating or use GIVELIFY to donate and we will do the shopping!
The State Fair Classic featuring Grambling State University Tigers and Prairie View A&M Panthers will take place on Saturday, September 28th. The game begins at 6:00PM at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas.
Tickets can be purchased in the Grand Prairie Campus and Southlake Campus Bookstores on Sunday after each worship service.
