The Comfort and Care Ministry serves members of the St. John Church who are experiencing personal illness, hospitalization, or bereavement. Comfort and Care extends comfort and prayer though phone calls and in-home or hospital visits.
Emergency Medical Team (EMT) Ministry – Grand Prairie

The Emergency Medical Team (EMT) seeks to assist, as medically trained personnel, individuals attending our worship services who are experiencing medical distress or in need of minimal medical attention. Our EMT volunteers are medically trained professionals who administer first aid, offer over the counter medicine for minor ailments, administer CPR and assists with in-service emergency.
Intercessory Prayer

The Intercessory Prayer Ministry specializes in prayer and purposed to “stand in the gap” on behalf of the needs of others. The Intercessory Prayer ministry believes that God has called each of us to pray and intercede at some level or another. Members of this ministry are called intercessors and intercessions is what they do.
Welcome Ministry

The purpose of our welcome ministry is to display the love of Christ by introducing each of our first-time guests to our church’s mission, membership, and ministry resources. Our welcome ministry is available to greet all of our first-time guests after every worship service.
Worship Service Attendants (WSA) Ministry

The Worship Service Attendants Ministry seeks to welcome all who enter our church with love, kindness, and hospitality of the Spirit of Christ. Specifically, our WSA members seeks to assist individuals in areas of worship service seating and accommodations. Additionally, the WSA members provide individuals with information regarding our current ministry activities and information.
Victory Place Biblical Counseling Center

The goal of the Victory Place Biblical Counseling Center (VPBCC) is to provide biblical counseling is to help individuals to meet the challenges of life in a way that will please and honor the Lord Jesus Christ and allow them to enjoy fully His love and His plans for their life. The VPBCC provides biblical counseling to individuals, couples, and families that are struggling with many types of problems. Additionally, we offer support groups for some of the challenges experienced in life. The groups that we seasonally offer include divorce, grief, cancer, and anger. Volunteers provide support group facilitation, lay counseling, and ministry administration.
